Meet the Team
Adam Stempel
Co-Founder
Adam is a Managing Partner at Vega Capital Partners. He oversees product development, capital markets strategies, as well as firm governance and compliance. With over two decades of financial background, he has had extensive experience in building multi-billion-dollar structured notes and exchange-traded notes platforms.
Prior to founding Vega, Adam served as Managing Director and Head of Exchange Traded Notes at BMO Capital Markets. He also worked in various structuring roles at RBC Capital Markets.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at the Arizona State University.
Sunny Wong
Co-Founder
Sunny is a Managing Partner at Vega Capital Partners. He leads investment strategies and product design. With over two decades in derivatives trading, Sunny brings deep expertise in portfolio construction and risk management, and a forward-thinking vision for how ETFs can deliver more precise, risk-adjusted exposure for investors.
Prior to founding Vega, Sunny served as Managing Director and US Head of Equity Structured Products Trading at BMO Capital Markets. He also worked in various trading roles at RBC Capital Markets and Tower Research Capital.
Sunny holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
